The Gatehouse provides an intimate venue for hosting small group events. The Living Room can be adapted for use as a team or executive offsite and conference facility, and club events such as Art Groups, Sewing Clubs and Book Clubs. Remember we have 10 rooms available and the entire venue may be booked.

A large covered verandah and a parklike setting surrounded by a forest of She-oaks provides an ideal venue for events such as small group weddings and elopements, reunions and special celebrations.

If you are planning a group booking at The Carriages we can assist with organisation of onsite catering and recommend restaurants and other activities such as wine-tasting tours, golf, bike rides, horse rides and ballooning. Walk next door to award-winning Peppertree Wines (take a winery tour), and Circa 1876 Restaurant (formerly Roberts) with it’s own kitchen garden.
Just a minute away you can enjoy oysters and bubbles at Peterson House, something sweet at the Sabor Dessert Bar, something sweeter at the Chocolate and Fudge shop, or something exceptional at Muse Restaurant (rated by Trip Advisor customers at #1 in Australia and just #22 worldwide).
